A new angle reveals more of Alec Baldwin’s altercation with a woman who asked him why he “killed that lady”.
The 66-year-old actor was confronted in a coffee shop by a woman who shared the footage on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: “White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me. While I was trying to get coffee.”
The Independent has since identified the woman behind the camera as “ambush interviewer” Crackhead Barney – an individual who is often described as a performance artist and content creator who has previously been seen with a microphone surprising politicians and celebs in public.
The clip shows the woman behind the camera saying to Baldwin: “Why did you kill that lady?” – a reference to the tragic fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchens on the Rust movie set back in 2021.
“You killed that lady and got no jail time,” she continues. “No jail time Alec. No jail time Alec. You’re putting innocent people in jail Alec Baldwin.”

She then repeatedly shouts “free Palestine,” asking him to say it “one time” with the promise she’d “leave [him] alone”.
The Beetlejuice star then appears to ask members of staff for assistance, telling them to “call the police” but the woman carries on calling him “a f***ing criminal”.
He then asks the woman – identified only as “Crackhead Barney” on X – to leave the shop, and when the camera is very close to his face, he appears to strike the phone she is holding with his hand.
Now, new pictures obtained by The New York Post show an infuriated Baldwin scuffling with the woman out the front door of Maman, a cafe on University Place in Greenwich Village.
As the previous clip was cut off after the actor allegedly took a swipe at her device, the pictures appear to show him holding the woman’s phone out of her reach as she tried to grab it from him.
They struggled down the stairs before she finally got her hands on the device. The angry actor then walked off with his coffee and car keys in hand.
Baldwin was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter last year, but these were dropped in April 2023 pending further investigation. However, he was indicted once again with involuntary manslaughter in January and will face a trial in July.
Meanwhile, Reed received the maximum possible sentence. She was found not guilty of tampering with evidence related to the shooting.
In a sWtatement released by their legal team, the parents and sister of the late Halyna Hutchins have stated that they are “satisfied” with Reed’s sentence.
